A top line up for the second weekend in Hyde Park! Supporting The Killers on 8th July are: Elbow, Tears for Fears, White Lies, Cold War Kids, British Sea Power, Mew, Mystery Jets, The Strypes and Alex Cameron.

Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park is delighted to announce that six further support acts will be joining rock giants The Killers this summer for their huge sold out London show.

The Las Vegas group’s summer return will give fans an early glimpse of material from their hugely anticipated new album, alongside their much-loved classics, all in the unbeatable setting of Hyde Park. Already on the killer line up for 8th July are Elbow, Tears for Fears and White Lies.

Newly added to the line up of the summer are California indie rockers Cold War Kids, fresh off the back of their latest album release, “L.A. Divine”, in April this year. Known for their bluesy sounds and timeless hits, including “First” and “Louder the Ever”, their performance is guaranteed to be unmissable.

Hailing from Brighton, British Sea Power have been likened to Arcade Fire and The Cure, with their intense live performances. With their latest release “Let The Dancers Inherit the Party” achieving yet more critical acclaim, Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park is incredibly excited to add British Sea Power to the family this year.

Denmark natives Mew returned this year with album “Visuals”, having burst onto the indie scene back in 1995 with their dream-like pop. With critics referring to the new album as capturing a creative peak, the band show no signs of slowing down and will win many more fans at Hyde Park.

Indie rockers Mystery Jets are back after a triumphant year in support of album “Curve Of The Earth”, which was featured in their brilliant set at last year’s Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park. They have just been nominated for a prestigious Ivor Novello award for the song “Telomere” and will be very popular returning heroes this summer.

Irish four-piece rock band The Strypes have established a loyal fan base since their formation in 2010. Citing classic bands such as The Rolling Stones and The Jam as their influences, the sharp suited youngsters will showcase their third album “Spitting Image”, due for release in June.

Also added the bill is Australian singer-songwriter Alex Cameron. He gained cult status in recent years with his live performances, featuring his epic portrayal of a failed entertainer. Cameron released his debut solo album ‘Jumping The Shark’ last year, a synth pop gem that explores stories of tragic wannabes and failures with touching sympathy.
