Getting to the Event


Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park takes place on the Parade Ground on the East side of Hyde Park. The postcode of the event is W2 2UH. Please refer to the Royal Parks Map.

The central London location of our event means that we are well served by the public transport network and as part of our sustainability plan we urge you to use public transport where possible or even walk.   Use TFL’s Journey Planner at www.tfl.gov.uk and check which entrance applies for your ticket type closer to the event.

All TFL buses have level access and are able to accommodate one wheelchair user.


Please bring your own lock to take advantage of the temporary bike rack at the Albert Gate entrance to Hyde Park (near Knightsbridge).

Don’t attach your bike to any park railings or you risk having it removed. Some areas around Speakers Corner and Hyde Park Corner may be inaccessible at the end of the event

Please collect your bike on the same day at the end of the event. Bikes left overnight may be removed.

Please note the Santander Cycle Hire Station on North Carriage Drive may be closed to avoid congestion on major event days. 

Bicycles, skateboards, scooters, roller blades or personal motorised vehicles are not permitted inside the event - this is with the exception of mobility scooters and electric wheelchairs.


We've teamed up with National Express to provide great value coach travel direct to Hyde Park from over 20 locations across the UK.

Services will arrive at Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hye Park at 11:00am and pick you up at 23:30 - so you won't miss a minute of the action. Coach is a really convenient way of getting to the festival, and it's great for the environment too. Plus, if you book your travel in a group of 4 or more, you automatically receive a 25% discount - just book seven days in advance.

There is no official drop off/pick up location at Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park due to congestion, so it is best to plan a location away from the event site.

Please note that Park Lane may be closed for a short time at the end of the major ticketed events.


We recommend that visitors avoid coming by car where possible.

However, for those who do travel by car we would recommend you pre-book you’re parking to guarantee a space. Please visit this link


Road Closures

  • South Carriage Drive and West Carriage Drive - will be closed daily from 11.00am on the 6th, 7th, 8th and 13th, 14th, 15th July.  
  • North Carriage Drive – will be closed between 18th June and 24th July.

We advise those attending the events to use public transport where possible.
