Please bring an empty reusable water bottle of up to 1.5l to fill up onsite - find your nearest water point on the Maps tab in the official app. Plus, bring a hat and sunblock, and take regular breaks from the sun.

The weekend of Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 June has a closure on the Piccadilly line. There will be no Night Tube on Friday night or any services at all on the Saturday and Sunday through Hyde Park Corner and Knightsbridge stations. Green Park station will still operate with Victoria and Jubilee lines only. Use the TFL website to plot alternative routes and stay up to date.

Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian (18 or over). Children under the age of 2 will be admitted free of charge and do not need a ticket. All children aged 2 and over must have their own ticket.

• There is no re-admission to BST Hyde Park after entry. Please plan ahead because once you’re in, you’re in!

• Please keep hydrated! You are welcome to bring an empty water bottle up to 1.5l to refill at one of our free refill points across the festival site.

The other main points to be aware of are:

• We have updated our bag policy so we can carry out efficient security screening. Only one bag is allowed per person. All persons and bags will be subject to search on entry. It’s better for everyone if you do not bring a bag at all. Those without a bag will be permitted access to a bag-free lane. If you do need to bring a bag, an A4 size bag (297mm x 210mm x 210mm) is permitted.

• This is a fully standing event. Seats and chairs of any kind not permitted into the event. This includes seat sticks and inflatable seats.

• The event promotes the operation of a cashless payment environment. All major credit cards, mobile pay functionality and single-use cash cards are accepted across all vendors at the site, making cashless payments easier than ever. American Express is the preferred payment partner of the festival.

• No food or drink is permitted to be brought into BST Hyde Park (with the exception of water in unopened plastic containers under 1.5l, empty water bottles to refill, and baby food where not in glass containers).

• Banners that are constructed of bendable materials – i.e cardboard/paper up to A1 in size are permitted, including banners that have battery-powered fairy lights on them.
