In 2019 we are bringing you an even greater range of taste-bud teasing artisan traders, producers and restaurateurs. We have a wide range of themed bars selling great refreshments from real ales to cocktails.
If you're coming down to one of our shows, make sure to visit some of these places and if you fancy an extra-special weekday lunch or after-work bite to eat, the site is FREE to enter for our Open House weekday summer activities.
Take a look at our 2018 Street Food market album on facebook!
Festival-goers all seem to get hungry and thirsty at the same time! The busiest time to buy food or drink is just prior to the headliner going on stage and the quietest time is whilst they are on stage.
Due to their handcrafted and artisan nature, some of our food vendors may take longer than others to prepare your meal. If you’re looking for an especially speedy fix, please ask at any Customer Service Information Hub for a list of vendors who serve food with a shorter preparation time.
Dietary requirements If you have a certain dietary requirement, several of our food vendors will offer suitable meals, but these may not be suitable for visitors with allergies.
The event has vendors that cater for each of these requirements:
- Low calorie
- Low sodium
Please ask at any Customer Service Information Hub for details on specific vendors and their location.
Food and drink policy:
We allow patrons to bring in empty water bottles to refill at one of our free refill points across the festival arena.
Customers should note that on the ticketed concert days no food or drink is permitted to be brought into the event, with the exception of water in unopened plastic containers of up to 500ml and baby food where not in glass containers. We allow patrons to bring in empty water bottles to refill at one of our free refill points across the festival arena. On non-concert days, the same applies for any areas of the site which are ticketed or access-controlled (note that outside of these areas no glass or cans are permitted in the event site at any time). There are a wide variety of licensed bars and catering open throughout the event, as well as free water points.
OPEN HOUSE – free-to-enter weekdays:
You are welcome to bring picnics into the main event, but please note that for any specific areas inside the event which are ticketed or access-controlled (such as the openair cinema), only food & drink which is purchased at the event is permitted, with the exception of water in unopened plastic containers of up to 500ml, and baby food where not in glass containers. Note that no glass or cans are permitted anywhere in the BST Hyde Park site at any time. There are a wide variety of licensed bars and catering open throughout the event, as well as free water points.
